GE Healthcare, iCAD Enter into Developmental Agreement


November 21, 2007 – iCAD Inc. and GE Healthcare today announced an agreement to develop a customized version of iCAD’s SecondLook Digital specific to GE’s Senographe and Seno Advantage family of systems, aiming to enhance the overall clinical performance with Senographe and Seno Advantage systems, specifically improving sensitivity to breast cancer imaging, enhancing usability and workflow as well as providing diagnostic support tools.

The SecondLook Digital offers radiologists CAD technology that is designed to distinguish cancers from other anomalies in the breast. In addition to workflow advantages, SecondLook Digital detects up to 72% of actionable missed cancers an average of 15 months earlier and integrates seamlessly with DICOM systems.
