Siemens Launches Cardiac Imaging Decision Support Tool
May 1, 2007 – Siemens Medical Solutions today announced the availability of a new cardiology image management and reporting solution, syngo Dynamics version 6, is a multi-modality, dynamic image review and reporting solution.
The solution a solution that integrates image and data management, post-processing and reporting for data transfer between Siemens' Sensis XP, an interventional cardiology and electrophysiology recording solution, and syngo Dynamics. The solution is designed to improve the efficiency of clinical procedures related to cardiology, vascular and other medical disciplines. syngo Dynamics V.6 relies on IHE profiles and DICOM, as well supports HL-7 via interface engines to provide open connectivity and allows healthcare facilities to create a filmless and paperless environment.
Version 6 of syngo Dynamics continues the evolution of Siemens ACUSON KinetDx, an industry-leading image management and reporting solution by providing a review, report and archive system for improving patient care, increasing productivity and managing costs throughout the echocardiography laboratory.
Additionally, numerous workflow features simplify and accelerate exam review and report generation, helping reduce data entry errors and streamlining patient hospital visits. syngo Dynamics V.6 expands Siemens' clinical expertise into cardiac catheterization by reportedly improving image management and integrating a evidence-based reporting solution which is structured to support procedural reporting with Siemens' AXIOM Sensis Hemodynamic databases.
