New Design Feature to Boast Versatility

GE will highlight a new design concept for its Vivid S5 cardiovascular ultrasound system, combining features from its Vivid I and Vivid 7, designed for use in multiple clinical settings.

The new concept will reportedly boast newly developed functions and ergonomic design, ready to serve a wide range of clinical users. The Vivid i works to improve efficiency by offering a larger-scale cardiovascular system in a portable and wireless design. Features include stress echo, tissue velocity imaging, IMT measurements and tissue tracking.

The Vivid 7 Dimension multi-dimensional cardiovascular ultrasound system allows users to obtain multiple imaging planes at once, and acquire real-time 4D volumes. The system incorporates tri-plane imaging, allowing for the display of three images from the same heartbeat.
